The Ferrari California is the first Ferrari Gran Turismo with a mid-front 8-cylinder engine: a vehicle that uncompromisingly combines sportiness with versatility, guaranteeing the maximum driving pleasure characteristic of cars from Maranello. Like all new Ferraris, this model also contains a wealth of leading-edge technological solutions, starting with the new direct petrol injection V8 engine mounted in a frontal position and coupled (via the traditional transaxle system) to a dual-clutch transmission and seven gears.

The development of the Veyron 16.4 is one of the key milestones of 21st-century automotive engineering. Volkswagen CEO Ferdinand Piëch made high demands: the designers were to revive the heritage of Ettore Bugatti with this new super sports car. Equally challenging were the impressive technical requirements the exceptional serial production vehicle had to meet: a top speed above 400 km/h and more than 1,000 HP. A truly formidable challenge. Yet the Veyron 16.4 unites the dichotomy of elegant form and high-tech function, of grace and power, aesthetics and safety in perfect harmony.

The 8C Competizione was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003. The lines of the twin seater are meant to echo the styling of Alfas of the 1930s and 1940s, and the "Competizione" name is a reference to the 1948 6C 2500 Competizione,which competed in the 1949 and 1950 Mille Miglia race and came third both times. It was in the latter of these two races that the car was driven by Juan-Manuel Fangio and Augusto Zanardi. It won the 1950 Targa Florio. A 3.0 litre prototype was built but not produced. These 6C 2500 models were among the last vehicles with links to the pre-war cars.

Visually enticing, the V12 Vantage expresses its performance potential through its purposeful stance created by enhanced aerodynamic and cooling aids optically widening the car, while retaining traditional understated Aston Martin design. Equally inviting, the cosseting interior permits the driver to extract maximum performance ability from the car while also enjoying customary levels of Aston Martin comfort on longer journeys. High levels of power and torque are available at all engine speeds making the V12 Vantage responsive and tractable in any driving situation.

O Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren revive a gloriosa tradição do SLR e marca uma nova era para os superesportivos da Mercedes-Benz. O modelo mistura os elementos estilísticos do SLR original da década de 50 com detalhes do projeto dos carros de corrida da equipe McLaren Mercedes de 2003. Essas características permitem ao SLR do século XXI formar uma ponte entre o passado e o futuro, trazendo a mais avançada tecnologia da competição automobilística para as ruas, assim como o coupé SLR fez em 1955.
